The MCPS faq says waitlist numbers above 30 are unlikely to get in based on past experiences.

What years were this? We have a low waitlist number for Page but I’m assuming that last year was an anomaly with more people choosing to opt-out because of virtual learning. Thanks

OP here. Just reread my message and by older child I mean any grade including K. I was just trying to ask about previous years not this year. Asking as we are on a different waiting list this year and curious if we have a shot. Thanks!

#2 for a first grade spot. Turns out that 1 and 2 always get in for first grade because the class size gets bigger.
