So this was just witnessed. The victim never reported anything? Very strange.
Attempts to reach the woman who was shot and the man inside the second vehicle targeted were unsuccessful.
I'm telling you, this has Russi written all over it. They will handle it themselves. They will not involve MPD.

From an investigation standpoint, the number of registered Maserati's in the DMV must be smaller than the number of typical road rage with gunfire incidents. Also the suspect firmly placed his hand on the rear quarter panel/spoiler on the victim's car. There must be a recoverable fingerprint there. The Eastern Ave area must have other traffic cams on it which must have recorded a better fidelity image of the license plate.
The video shows the incident that happened on May 19. In the video, a man is seen getting out of a Maserati, taking out a gun and firing. The woman was shot and later crashed.
The man fired at the car multiple times in the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue NE. He's seen in the video moving backward as he shoots, eventually pointing the gun in the other direction before getting back in his car and simply driving away.

Very few Secret Service there now as the current VP is not living at the observatory while it is remodeled. Apparently DC traffic cameras and license plate readers do not actually record traffic or read license plates. And there is genuinely no ability to "go back in time" and search for a vehicle. Sounds insane, but apparently the city purchased the bargain basement set up.

Maybe, but the police should still be able to identify. Not being able to make an arrest is one thing, but not being able to identify is unacceptable.
The way he fired, it looks like he has traininh and is not a gang banger. Or maybe a gang banger with training.
