How many nights, what your guest room setup is, how well your kid sleeps at night, how different 24 hours a day is from her normal hours, whether she has a spouse/kids/pet/jungle of houseplants that may need attention while she is gone, etc. So it’s very individual. Ask!

If she has no already volunteered, this means that she does not want to call your mother or MIL. IF YOU CAN'T have a baby by yourself then you shouldn't be having volunteered
