When my husband (then boyfriend) first moved to the area in 1998, he stayed with his cousins who lived in Manassas. I drove across country with him for the move and one of the first things his cousins pointed out when they were showing us around the area what is the location where she had thrown it.

Back in the 90's I lived on the west coast. I heard about the whole...incident, but I wasn't familiar with Virginia cities/geography at the time. I moved to an area not too far from Manassas over a decade ago and was surprised when I found out that was where the Bobbits lived.
I've been listening to a lot of "true crime" podcasts lately and when I listened to one about the Bobbits, it was interesting to hear the podcaster mention specific places (the Prince William court house, the apartment complex they lived in, Prince William Hospital, etc.) because I actually know where all those places are.
Now I'm curious...they say she threw it "into a field across from a 7-11" (the 7-11 is relevant because apparently when they found it, they got a cup of ice and a paper hot dog bag from there to transport it to the hospital for reattachment.)
Does anyone know exactly where this field/7-11 is? Cross streets? Thanks.
