While the chance with own egg is extremely low the chance with donor egg or donor embryo is almost equivalent to a younger person. I think PGS tested embryo Chance is about 45% live birth assuming no uterine issues. In any case I went through pregnancy at 47 with no complications, although I definitely had increased monitoring during pregnancy. Totally worth it! So definitely be supportive and non judgemental. I had some very supportive friends and they did make a difference!
There is at least one book geared towards older mothers (in their 40’s). I think the one I read is called the Joy of Late Motherhood.
