I love high waisted pants because they accentuate my narrowest point, my waist, and the long line helps my hips look curvy and proportional. They also make everyone's legs look good. I wore low-waisted jeans back in the early aughts and they looked good because I was young and thin, but they don't actually flatter my body type. If you're slender all the way down, you would probably look great in a semi-slouchy modern style like a boyfriend jean.

I have a round fat mound sitting on my lower belly, so to hide it I need to either wear super high rise pants, or very low rise pants (with long loose tops). The worst is mid-rise, because it sits right where the bulge is biggest![]()
I love to accentuate my natural waist, which is quite slim actually. So I look for super high rise pants with nice belts, or if I'm wearing low-rise, a top that has a high defined waist.
Oh, and high-rise bikini bottoms. Those that are also high leg. Very nice.
