Like a previous person mentioned here - if you are on FB, I would join the local "Buy Nothing" for wherever your family member lives. You may be able to post everything on there and have people come to the building to pick it up. You could also drop off many things at the Salvation Army. If you continue to be at a loss about what to do with your items, I recommend calling whatever Catholic church is in the neighborhood of your family member. They probably will be familiar with local charitable agencies collecting donations.

Also, if you are not hung up on getting a tax write off, Next Door and Facebook can be good ways to move items. DD cleared out her closet last fall and someone came to pick up six bags of clothes for size 4-6. Also had success with furniture, even sold a keyboard.

Very few places will come to your home, even before COVID. Housing Works takes furniture, clothes, and house wares. Believe HW also takes books. Your challenge would be transporting the stuff. You may be able to entice them if the possessions are of good quality.
