These pages are such a small sample. The kids that are going to less prestigious colleges aren’t sending in their info because people are judgy.

I thought this was equally impressive. Still lots of good schools represented with a focus on value. Some kids appear to be doing ROTC and/or enlisting which means they should get funding to pursue college later. Others seem to be planning on NOVA and then transferring. Nothing wrong with either plan. I suspect many of these kids may be the first in their families to attend college. More representation of HBCUs. The goal is to get an education and set yourself up for success in life.

With heavier weight on GPA this year, that would make sense, as girls tend to have higher GPAs than boys.

They tend to have better EF skills and a lot of grading revolves around this.

It is weird to me that adults want to look at this information. We need to stop judging kids and their schools based on where they go to college. Many factors are at play, including fit and finances. It’s not always about rankings.

No, only the wealthy schools. I looked for Park View HS in Sterling (16 mi. Away) and couldn’t find anything.

This page shows 181 of the 572 graduating seniors at McLean. It’s a self selecting group that chose to submit their info to be posted. I see a wide variety of schools, and I think they all did well.
