Amen. I wore those shoes forever. Only ones that were wide enough without getting a special order.

Amen, yes! My oldest son has huge wide feet. I used to have to special order XXL stride rites when he was a preschooler.

Only leather cleats work and he wears copas too!

He was always so disappointed as a kid that he couldn’t wear all the flashier styles, Nikes etc—until a Spanish coach he really admired complimented him on his old school leather black adidas. Black was all we had as kids and the traditional blank & white soccer balls. I’m female none if the pink and girl soccer stuff came out until post Mia Hamm.

The other option is ordering New Balance. The come in regular and wide.

We may be talking about the same shoe. The nike tiempo premier is the same as the premier ii fg. My box had both names on it.

Interesting! The definitely look similar though the Tiempo on the Nike website has a slightly different pattern on the leather. I will add these to my list.

My son just wore out his Premier II FG—was at practice the other day and the outside of the boot just fell apart. But he’s worn them since January at Barça academy training at least 4 days a week so they took a lot of abuse.
I would recommend buying from Nike directly as they seem to honor their warranty—several of my sons teammates have sent back boots and gotten replacements.

Back when we were searching, everyone on amaxon said they tore quickly and weren't the same quality. I would try and buy in person. I think they were at dick's and Rockville soccer.

Zephz makes a wide cleat that you can purchase from shoe train in potomac for about $55 but the synthetic material was plasticy and painful for my child. He only used them a few weeks.

To add^^, most nikes run narrow so I don't think they work unless they are good leather.

This is my ds. We tried regular cleats for a month or two but he was limping off of the field after practice. He is an XW shoe.

We did not have luck with rockville soccer or the famous Adidas copa. The perfect shoes were nike premier ii fg in kangaroo leather (not synthetic leather) from pjs soccer.

He loved them instantly and has played all year without any pain. The leather strtches strtches to his foot. The downside is having to pay $100 for kid cleats.

We used to buy off brand cleats in wide when my son was younger, because it was hard to find anything in wide. Then he got to the point where he thought he had bobo cleats and we started having to find other options. He's been wearing Nike Phantoms for the last couple years and we've had good luck with them. I really don't like Nike as a company, but the cleats have been good for his wider foot and they stretch.

What is a good place to get wide cleats? I feel my kid will have to stop playing because we can't find any.
