It will not change anything. They are trying to market EDP as better league to draw more kids in.

I think EDP will give their players on top teams more exposure to college scouts or even bigger teams if thats what helps the player. PAC isn't at all about trying to build a trophy room like some clubs they get much more satisfaction from developing players to their max and helping them achieve whatever goals that are set for them.

Many times at bigger clubs ie. Arlington or McLean. The B team and lower teams players get lost in the shuffle. At PAC every player from every team is know by every coach. They will work to develop your player to to be their best and even better than that if your child wants to work harder for it. If you have a player who is determined to get better your not going to find a better staff than at PAC to help guide them there.

Sorry, you are right, she's an 08. Always confuse her as she's a year older than my DD!

The 08 Coach was really cautious / conservative about Covid. The other teams played more tournaments. Should be better next year. I do appreciate that to him, safety was paramount (but definitely understand that some families were turned off by that). Agree on disorganization...

I would say top 1. 2nd flight is similar to ncsl d1.

Why do you assume that PAC offers better training than B teams from Arlington, McLean or Vienna? I know that B teams from the first two clubs usually beat PAC's top teams. Not sure about Vienna's B team, but as a club they do pretty good job, particularly on the girls side.

It depends on the age group. At the younger ages they will generally take all comers. Would try to contact the club. You could come to a practice or 2 any time.

Their technical director is a great guy, played professionally in England. His children are accomplished soccer players (collegiate/pro/national team caliber). He is far more interested in player development than in competing with Arlington/McLean.

Practice fields are close to beltway, easy to get to.

DP. would you say it is a club to start with and then move on to more competitive teams after a few years or can players on A & B teams from nearby big clubs come to PAC and still develop?

Good club, good coaches, good training. My kid began there and eventually moved elsewhere but got a great foundation there.

Can anyone fill me in on the program at PAC in Falls Church? They apparently have several tryouts through the first week on June, but other local teams will have had offers out by then (e.g. Arlington, McLean). Are they not competitors? Is the program just different and they attract different players? I can't find much on their website about the teams. Thanks in advance.
