My APS student may take them in June. Can anyone tell me by I should have my kid take it? I opted out of reading SOL bc the RI is sufficient. I opted out of science SOL bc it didn’t seem to have a impact. I didn’t opt out of math for the verified credit.

Per FCPS, "the test is available for the Reading 6-8, Math 6-8, and Science 8 SOLs. The test is not available for high school-level math courses (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2)."

Not OP, but I emailed VDOE about whether there would be a virtual geometry assessment, and have gotten no response.

Our middle school has a testing coordinator role. OP, check with the guidance counselor or anyone in a similar testing role at your school, if you haven’t already.

Our APS middle school is supposedly administering science this week and reading next week (or maybe I have that flipped?) for our virtual 8th grader, but I was told that there is no virtual test for geometry (or algebra).
