Why would a compliance job only be 40k? I'm in compliance and make 300k. Entry level people start out at about 70k and that's right out of undergrad.

What kind of ediscovery job do you have? We can help you translate those skills into something else. But just saying “ediscovery” and I am “hopeless” shows an inability to think outside of the box. I’ve been in ediscovery for over a decade and I don’t feel hopeless at all. In fact, I love what I do.

If you're already employed, why are you desperate? If you're not employed, apply for unemployment. Many DCUM members have been getting $1000/week for the past year by mooching off Uncle Sam. The unemployment benefits are somewhat lower now, but still ripe for mooching.

I honestly don’t know anymore . It used to fluctuate . I’d assume it’s not very good probably 2nd or 3rd tier now. I did well. Top 5% but that’s no longer relevant as I graduated a long time ago

I’ve applied for many many government jobs over the years. I’ve only gotten one offer, at the BVA, which I declined about 14 years ago. I apply on average two federal jobs a week

Have you looked at the government? Regulatory Counsel, Government Information Specialist, Attorney-Advisor (this title is more competitive) start at GS 9 or 11 for entry level. Journeyman is usually a GS 13.
