MVSA, MoCo VB, MEVC, Metro North, Frederick... a few may have summer leagues (but harder to find as clubs are still finding their way out of the pandemic and options to play).
Agree - try to find as many camps and clinics that are still available as possible - most just started this past week. For your MD corridor, you may still find availability with the Frederick, Metro North (check metrovbc.com website for their summer offerings and ones up that way for availability. Once fall starts, some places have fall league that then lead up to travel if that is a route your DD wants to go. Agree with PP re: height variations at this age. Tall and/or on the way to tall will get attention at this age as clubs will say they can train her. If shorter, harder to get a foot hold but doable at some of the smaller clubs or those clubs with multiple teams for a given age group. Maybe this next year, some more clubs will return to that. Don't wait too long into the fall because there will be a dry spell of vball offerings until the spring rec leagues. A few areas will have fall rec league but fewer and far between as most places will turn to travel vball for their gyms and resources. Don't wait until she is 14, will get harder for entry unless she is super athletic (and tall).
