I'm in the market for a new car and I really (really) like the Volvo XC60 -- most interested in the electric hybrid. They seem SO much more expensive than similar small/medium SUVs (Mercedes GL 300, BMW X3, Audi Q5). I can afford it, just not sure I want to.

Would anyone who has gotten one recently be willing to share what they actually paid, how they got a good offer, etc? I'm also sortof open to being talked out of it and into something else. If I don't get that, I don't think I need a luxury SUV (husband is suggesting the Mazda medium SUV or the like).
