Aruba no question.

So easy, non stop flights, hotels are decent. Water great. Super easy to get around the island and pretty safe.

Grand Cayman. We are beach people, not looking for much else, and the beach and water there are absolutely gorgeous. We rent a condo that walks out onto the beach, which was perfect when our kids were small and needed naps, and continues to be perfect now that they’re big and are happy to just sit and read/swim all day. It’s quiet and safe. We love it.

This is probably not going to be a popular choice in dcum-land but we love Barbados. If you have young kids, there is just so much to do. So many different types of beaches (calm and shallow, surfing, snorkeling beaches, etc...). There are also huge caves to visit, beautiful botanical gardens, food, culture, outdoor festivals, high-end shopping (and low end shopping if that’s more your thing). Just lots to do!

St John, because my parents have a place there so I get free lodging.

DH might also like the lack of bikini tops.

OP here.DH would love the no customs/immigration. Leaving most islands on departure day is a S-show.

Not as luxurious as Cayman, which we also love but much less expensive.

OP here. Do you prefer Eagle or Palm Beach on Aruba?

St Johns has the most beautiful beaches and I like the motorboating charter we use (Bad Kitty/Calypso Tours).

Grand Cayman had nice people, good food, felt safe there. Not sure if illusory.
