Op here. Yes, another friend suggested toys for bigger dogs and it sounds like a great idea. Any specific brand suggestions? I’m lost when it comes to appropriate products, so want to make sure I get the safest toys.

Op here. Thanks to both of you for responses! After further inspection, I think the plastic came off in small shavings or pieces. I hope that makes it less of a worry?

He has a vet visit tomorrow already so just ask about it then and check to se if it has passed. If you didn't have an imminent vet visit, I would call and try to get in, but I don't think this is a late night urgent care visit.

Check his poop. Also, it will likely pass.

I hope I’m just overreacting and everyone can confirm! My 3 lb yorkie (3.5 months old) chewed off a piece of a plastic bone that was meant just for chewing. I am a new puppy mom but love the little guy so much, need some reassurance. The vet said his small size is a concern for intestinal blockage and to watch out for vomiting and lethargy. He ate normally tonight and was his normal rambunctious self, and no vomiting. How long should we be on the lookout for any issues? He happens to have a vet visit tomorrow for shots, so will follow up then, but without an X-ray, how can we know for sure?

Thanks in advance!!
