Two of the teams that are moving to EDP played in CCL this year, not NCSL (they had previously done well in NCSL division 1). Playing in EDP let’s those teams (and a few others) continue to compete at a similar level. I think it is a good move!

Ah Ok so not leaving the NCSL completely. This is a good move providing they can keep teams competitive in both. Any Idea when there coach assignments will be released?

What will NPL, CCL, ECNL teams do when they lose to EDP teams in tournaments ?

Its happened many times.

NCSL teams even occasionally win

Premier AC will have teams in both EDP and NCSL. It seems like the best possible arrangement for a small club.

So leave NCSL top divisions to be in EDP lower divisions which may not better and more travel. No thanks,

This is pretty dumb. They will be placed into appropriate divisions. A lower edp division may be equivalent to a top NCSL division.

Definitely something to consider. However, if you get promoted to higher and higher EDP divisions, that's when it becomes worth it. D1 and D2 is very good.

They have teams that can compete in higher edp divisions, and they are more likely to retain and attract players by moving to edp. I think it is smart.

EDP accepts just about any team into the lower championship divisions

EDP accepts teams not clubs. So every team in EDP applies separately. Considering PA, only their top team would most likely be even considered and even then maybe only in a lower EDP division.

They have a few really good teams.
Overall I think they are too small to compete in the EDP.

? EDP is filled with single teams in strong years from small clubs

No different than NCSL just more driving
