As a former player in Montgomery County and have played for a couple of the clubs around the area. I would only recommend Bethesda, Lions Soccer, or Potomac for u10.

One big plus is that OBGC has their own fields which are IMO also the nicest fields in the area

The main issue I have with the 2012 team is that it is combined with the 2011s. So if your son is smaller, slower, etc. he will get overlooked. Now that they can hold tryouts this year, I’m hoping they’ll consider splitting the team.

The club has definitely shrunk in the past few years. I'm not familiar with the club. My suggestion is to attend a practice and one of their games. This will allow you to see if you think your child would be a good fit.
