I’m dying for a PBKids competitor to come to the market because I really hate the Pottery Barn family of brands. Worst customer service and just double - triple - the ETA you get on furniture arrival. That said, the quality, price, design and options combined make it the best (only?) option for me. I couldn’t wait a year on a glider so I bought one used (barely) on FBMP and purchased a new slipcover. Most of the other big shops that carry children’s furniture are overly modern in design which isn’t my taste at all. If it is though you have more options and I’d assume are similar in quality (ie the Crate & Barrel family brands).
Bottom-line, someone please open a store that competes with PB kids!

The chairs are both good. The recliner is nice because it’s a smaller footprint depth wise and the glider and ottoman are nice because it’s more narrow. The glider is in the Performance Velvet and I highly recommend that. Wears like iron.
We have always done Burts Bees crib sheets because they are super soft.
For DS’s room we went with a Navy dresser off Wayfair and are happy with it. It’s much smaller and was more expensive than the IKEA one but so be it.

OP here. I don’t like the look of the IKEA cribs. I have heard good things about the Hemnes dresser and was looking into getting it. I also was looking into the Pottery Barn Kids Comfort Swivel recliner you linked since I have many friends who recommended it. I’m just a little concerned since I heard delivery can take months.
I also bought the Burts Bees crib sheets since they were also recommended to me.
FYI, the Hemnes dresser (the big one) has been tough to find in stock for a lot of folks! It does come back in stock to pick up but I would be prepared to be patient if it's the one you want.
Weirdly, I also went with the Babyletto Lolly crib--ordered march, says it will be delivered in a week or so (that date has been pushed back).
We thought about buying the PBkids comfort recliner but the saleslady at the store was very honest with us that shipping was going to be delayed and we got nervous. But I agree that you need to go try out chairs for sure.

PP here. Some of the PBKids chairs take ages. There are some that are “quick ship” which is still like 4-6 weeks but not months. It’s a lot of the popular fabrics. Our swivel chair is in a Linen blend and I’m very happy with it.
And totally get it! It doesn’t seem like the crib we have is still available( it had a cute detail on the top). You want something you like but also you don’t want to spend $1000 on something you’ll use for 2 years max. Check out Wayfair. I’ve been very happy with my furniture purchases from there

Ikea.
I had huge and sturdy hand me down land of nod for my sons that took forever to unload and they grew out of nursery furniture (what felt like) very soon.
This round, ikea. The same stuff the kid will have as a kid.

Honestly- get a crib from IKEA. Spend the money on furniture that will last longer. Even if the crib converts to a toddler bed you’re looking at 2ish years.
We bought a nice Lullaby Earth mattress from PBK and would recommend that. Both have held up well for 2 kids.

We have a babyletto modo crib that we have loved. My almost 3 year old is still in it as they have not climbed out, but will be transitioning soon because baby 2 will need it!
Way better value then PBK furniture - there is no reason to pay $500+ for a crib!

I’m looking for nursery furniture and wanted some suggestions and opinions. Most of my friends used PBK but I’ve heard the quality has gone down and the shipping can take months. I’ve been looking at Babyletto cribs. Does anyone have one of these? Is the quality good? Any suggestions on dressers and chairs?
