Please be aware that email correspondence is subject to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and may be made public if someone requests it – even if you have asked that your message be kept confidential. Only subjects that are exempt from disclosure under FOIA or FERPA may be withheld.

That’s been at the bottom of all emails for years.
It has not been on any of the other updates sent (superintendent emails, etc). Given the recent FOIA drama, found it interesting.
