I don't really. But every time I mention it in a thread about outsourcing people ask what I use, so I figured there's interest.

We used to have our cleaning people do our laundry too. It's been much more efficient (in terms of housekeeper time and cost) to send out.

True, it takes as much time as throwing in the washer. Not as much time as remembering to cycle to dryer before it gets mildewed, fold, and sort by item type to put away, and pairing the whole family's socks (if you have one kind of sock for you, your spouse, and all your kids, fair enough, you win). Ours come back in stacks of husband's undershirts, husband's boxers, kids' tees according to size (and thus kid) and then take 10 minutes to put away in drawers.


We each do our own laundry. The kids did wear odd socks quite a lot when they were younger, come to think of it...


I will say that my kids started doing their own laundry from when they were 6 or 7, which helped a lot.

Yes! I am so thankful to have house cleaners.


We have both but laundry is much cheaper than the cleaners.

Of all the things you can outsource, laundry is the best bang for your buck. There's really no reason to be dealing with dryer cycles and sock matching and folding. Do it for your sanity. Do it for your marriage.

We use Happy Nest. They come pick up a bag of clothes, towels, and sheets off our porch and bring them back clean and folded. But Happy Nest isn't paying me, I'm sure there are plenty of other options.
