Can you elaborate on why? Genuinely curious. There have been a few houses there of interest and we are looking at moving out of Alexandria City for a little more room. The neighborhood comes up a lot as being family-friendly but I'm not familiar with it.
Most likely people will say because even though waynewood is good for elementary school it still feeds into Sandburg middle and west Potomac high which aren’t great. If you like the area you can get a house for $100k less in fort hunt/Stratford landing school district which is still 22308. It is a super family friendly area. I would say it’s like going back in time, kids biking and running around together, parents aren’t super helicopter-y and people tend to be really nice and helpful. Just my opinion.
