This gossip is so tacky. I feel sorry for anyone who has to live through their child. Hide the poster if you have such a problem with it, PP. it’s possible to do that without unfriending or unfollowing.

My DC attended and is a recent graduate. It is a great education, but the kids are pretty horrible to one another. The social life was seriously HARD CORE and lots of pressure to wear high end brands. I would never send another child there for this reason. Also, tons of drugs and sex starting in 9th grade. Parents may deny this, but my DC tells me everything - even where the kids go on campus to hook up and have sex. Yes, it is more than at local day schools.

I completely agree w PP. Check out Black@EHS on IG if you are Afri American before you go there. Very "southern"culture.

EHS alum here. Great experience for the white, affluent and privileged. Not much interaction w DC privates. It is 100% boarding. I know of no social events with Madeira, Foxcroft etc.

I can't remember the exact schools because "pre pandemic" seems like a million years ago but there used to be a decent number of mixers and social events for the local boarding school kids to get together with kids from other schools -- Woodberry, Blue Ridge, Foxcroft, Madeira and I think Episcopal.
