PP. Ok, it's not quite as bad as I said. Half the time I can't do anything right, the other half of the time she is still sweet to me and wants to snuggle with me. I just never know what I'm going to get. I think she's scared by the changes a little too, so I get this push and pull. It's hard, but I know it's necessary for her to grow up.

10-11 for my oldest. He is now 12 and a moody tween.

My middle child is 10 and he still thinks we are awesome.

I'm 33 and I still think my dad is magic/a superhero.

My 6 year old DS likes to tell me he loves me infinity times infinity times infinity (on and on and on) and that he wants to give me lots of hugs because they’re my favorite. He also still crawls in our bed to snuggle at night. And says he wants to live with me forever even when he’s a grownup (which is cute now, but I guess not as cute coming from a failed to launch 30 year old man lol). So I do hope he becomes independent some day, but man am I going to miss the hugs and snuggles and I love yous.

I told my 7 yr DD that she was the best daughter in the whole galaxy, and she replied that I am the best mom in this galaxy and all the still undiscovered galaxies. Ugh, my heart!

I'm sure in a few years she will be embarrassed to even be seen with me.

Between 13-14 they realize all your faults. It’s also harder to hide.

My almost 9 year old would crawl back in the womb if she could. Thinks I am the absolute best.

It makes me sad to think that will change (except the womb filling part).

My six year old thinks he know more of the world than us. The magic is well worn. His three year old brother in turn thinks that older brother is the keeper of all magic.

I was hormonal between 13 and 22 or so. Then back to normal until 32 or so, when my mom started declining mentally and at first I didn't realize it was dementia (thought she was just being really mean to me).

Sometime in middle school for my son.

I have an almost 4 year old who thinks I’m the most fascinating and exciting person to ever live. He hangs onto everything I think, say, and do and can’t get enough of me (not in a weird way, he does fine with other care givers all day and family goes off with grandparents etc but in his world I’m #1 by a mile).

When do they stop thinking you’re so wonderfully amazing? I have a couple younger ones so I have plenty of time to get burnt out on it over the years but I do love being so wonderful to someone in the world
