My daughter accidentally used a blonde hair lightener on her darker blonde hair and now she has very light blonde hair in some places that’s looking brassy and strange as her somewhat darker hair grows in. Her hair does lighten somewhat in the summer but not this much. I don’t want to dye it but want to use a shampoo or something that will bring the lighter blonde back to her more natural color. I’ve tried a purple shampoo and it does a bit but not much. Any ideas? I’m a lifelong brunette.
