If you are a good painter, with the right roll and technique, sure.

I find that even the best paint I buy, I need just one more coat the following day. The second coat is much easier.

Especially when painting over a similar color (1990's orange painter's white with a 2020 gray based white, or a 00's Tuscan (orange-pink) color to a calmer 2020 tan.

BM Aura but only if you’re going darker from a light color. And even then it’s hit or miss. So really the answer is “no”.

If you're going darker, maybe. If you're going lighter, no.

Do one coat paints really cover in just one coat? I have beige walls that I want to paint a different shade of white and wonder if I can get away with one coat using a one coat paint?
