Yup, it will be fine. Hydreangeas drop their leaves, then grow new ones every year.

Decent looking leaves means that it will come back. My hydrangeas are established, and still received some black leaves from the cold snap a few weeks ago. Since then they've already put out new green leaves.

Don't not trim it or anything now. Just leave it.

I was given a endless summer hydrangea for my bday on March 30. I left it outside and it's basically looking deal. Most of the leaves turned black. I'm guessing that it is because it got too cold in the first week it was outside. I've cut off all of the dead leaves. There are some decent looking leaves at the base. Is there anything I can do to save this little fellow?
