This is pretty close to mine as well. Working out always makes me feel more attractive -- I put on my cutest, most colorful workout clothes too. I also like to do more intensive body care if I'm feeling blah -- I'll do a post-shower oil massage and do extra moisture on knees and elbows, plus pumice and moisturize my feet. If I'm feeling ambitious, I'll paint my toes, too.
Also, while I usually don't blow dry my hair, taking 10 minutes to give myself a proper blow out and run the flat iron through it is a mood boost. It's not even that my hair looks better straight. It's more that the blow out makes it so smooth and shiny and it feels good to run my fingers through it. Plus it will last a few days.
Also, when I'm feeling blah, I like to follow up my self-care routine by heading out for a little pre-dinner cocktail somewhere fun with my family. I know it's shallow, but once I get myself looking good, I like to go out so that I can feel good about my appearance in public. It's a little bit of validation and Covid has made that harder to come by. It's amazing how much better it feels to dress up a bit when you get to go show it off. I wore heels to dinner last night, first time in a year. It felt amazing.
