CDC guidelines are 3 feet. But it's too challenging for the clowns to figure out. So no, he's not following CDC guidelines.

CDC guidelines are still 6 feet for lunch. Still 6 feet for MS and HS when rates are high (ours are) and if there isn't cohorting (we aren't). Everyone will be full time in the fall bc of SB 1303. Let's all take a breath.

That’s the way the SB has always been. They did the same with Murphy. Most of them have aspirations beyond school board, so they don’t want to risk associating themselves with anything too controversial.

I was happy with Duran when he first started, and I still think he has potential as a superintendent. Unfortunately this kind of crisis is not the time for someone to be figuring out how to be an effective superintendent, and someone with more experience in that role probably would have been more effective. But it’s not like the SB could have anticipated this pandemic back during the hiring process.

They are going to go continue issuing iPads to preK thru 2nd graders due to “uncertainty” about the coming year. Not a great sign.

He sends out a “preview” of what his plans are in his weekly Tuesday messages. I don’t know why y’all are surprised. Tuesday’s message clearly indicated just keeping more kids off the waitlist and preparing for full time in the fall.
