That is a terrible hotel and in no way more family friendly than Four Seasons.

It looks like the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor has an outdoor pool and is a decent hotel. Convenient to the Harbor attractions and more family-friendly than the Four Seasons or Pendry. You may run into the baseball crowd if there is a game in town but aren't they limiting attendance to games now?

It looks like a really nice hotel. I was a little concerned if a kid that loves jumping into the pool 500 times in a row might not be the pool guest they are going for... Maybe it just depends on the time of day?

Thanks. It is hard but if we can make it a little fun then wel will. I feel like our kid will hate baltimore as an adult and not know why they have that feeling if we don't make some fun memories there! Thanks for the hotel idea I will check them out.

Lower-end is Comfort Inn - not the best neighborhood but it's fun for kids, and you can walk to the aquarium and the pirate ships at the harbor. the renaissane is on the water if I remember. there's a cool museum there for kids and also the ripley's believe it or not (whihc I hate but your kid might like).

Thanks for the ideas.. We live in DC and have done a few day trips for fun and a few for medical in Baltimore but haven't really done the tourist thing yet. Given we aren't really able to travel this year (our kid has a bit higher risk than an average kid) we are willing to splurge a bit more on the long weekend.
We have another free Marriott night left with I know will work for the Renaissance. It would be nice to use but we aren't limiting our search to Marriott either.
I think I would prefer an outdoor pool option unless thing change a lot. Just because it does lower the risks assuming not isn't over crowded. I am not sure how hotels are managing pool. But our kids is a fish and has really been missing swimming.

The Pendry is on the waterfront in Fells Point, so a nice neighborhood for playing tourist. It’s about a mile from Hopkins and within walking distance of the aquarium, and not far from all of the Inner Harbor attractions. I think the Renaissance has the best indoor pool — if you like to swim more than splash. There are also bed and breakfasts nearby. . If these aren’t quite what you have in mind, there are lots of other nearby options. There might be hotels and B & Bs with complimentary swimming at the MAC, so if there are places that appeal to you that don’t have their own pools, this could offer a few more options.

Courtyard Marriott. Renaissance Harborplace.

What’s your budget OP? For 3 people? One room or two?

Pendry? Pricey but nice. I saw kids in the pool last summer with adults at the bar. Bar can get a little crowded but nothing that would be 'non family'.

Four Seasons

Are there any Nice Hotels good for a family (just 1 kid) in the water from area? Must list is a pool (going in mid June so our door is fine) and not over run with baseball fan parties. Would consider other areas of the city as well. But we will be at Hopkins for some testing and thought we would try to make it a fun get away. (Trying to take a bit of the sting of more medical test our of my kids childhood).
