If your dog is social...My dog loves this place. It is a big farm and they put the dogs with other dogs of similar size, temperament, activity level. They spend the day in large yards playing with other dogs. My dog came back exhausted.

It is in Beltsville

That is actually pretty cheap.

They pick up and drop off so you don’t have to drive there

OP here--that is the main one I have heard about! Will check them out.

Braveheart Kennels. Excellent boarding facility. Cleanest one we have ever used.

Rover.com
We also have an active lab and found great success having her stay in a home with a human who could give her lots of attention and exercise. Find a sitter with great reviews who describes themselves as active.

We have a 1 year old lab who is super active. Loves multiple walks a day and running around the backyard. We'll be going away for a week in August and can't take her with us. I'm going to ask around in the neighborhood too, but was curious if any DCUMers with active labs (or active dogs in general) could recommend a great place to board her where she'll get lots of stimulation/activity? We're in MoCo if that makes a difference. We don't have a dog walker, even though I know some folks will board with their dog walker. Her breeder is in Southern VA so that's not very convenient for us to board her there. Thanks!
