I love my standing desk. It’s from fully but my company gave everyone $1k to buy home office furniture or equipment. Not sure I would have bought it myself.

I got this standing desk converter about 6 months ago. Not perfect, but reasonably priced and it allows me to vary my positions while I work at my desk at home during the day.

People with standing desks generally aren't just standing there for hours. Most people alternate between standing and sitting. When I'm standing, I'm also doing stretches and balance poses. I do have to remind myself about posture, because if I'm slumping over and leaning against the desk, I might as well be sitting.

It is neither healthy nor pretty. You can do a bit of it if you are very younga nd have super strong heart
and are super fit and even then it is bad for you. If you have any preexisting conditions like circulation problems or heart problems or are overweghit and putting huge weight on your hips and joints..

bad on all levels.

The blood will be pooling in your legs and they swell. Humans are NOT design to stand in one place for long time. All people who work in such positions have all kinds of health problems later.
Think cashiers, think dorman... although they at least can move a bit

you have to walk. a little.

I guess I’m asking both questions, really. I think my body would be happier overall. Searching around for one to hold laptop, phone, legal pad, monitor, external keyboard, and touchpad at a minimum. Thinking one with a crank might be a good bet since motorized ones seem prone to issues.
