Normally it wouldn’t be canceled in that case, as long as they aren’t producing estrogen.

Much less monitoring than retrieval cycle. A few visits to check for cysts, lining development, and hormone levels. Maybe one visit per week, two in the final week? Estrace pills, and closer to retrieval started progesterone and endometrin. I got about a weeks notice of when my transfer would be. Beta was nine days post transfer.

It depends on how your retrieval goes and how far after you get your period. We had a good number of eggs retrieved, fertilized and reaching blasts, so when I got my period a week after the retrieval (on the same day I got my blast report) my clinic felt fine about letting me start procedure for FET even though we would have to parallel path PGT testing. My FET was four weeks to the day after my retrieval.

Yes. Typically you will start monitoring and transfer meds 3-4 weeks after retrieval.

I had one FET cycle date push out an extra month because at the check up post-retrieval I had a small cyst present. They’re super common especially during IVF and resolve on their own most of the time. My doctor didn’t want to risk transferring when the cyst was present and could cause issues with implantation or loss. So, that cycle for me of egg retrieval and FET was about 10 weeks start to finish.

I had no clue that could be an issue (had never had a cyst or fibroid or anything before) and was upset the timeline shifted. That said, be prepared it can shift for different reasons. Good luck.
