While that may be true for some, it’s absurd to just discount people’s experiences with that. You are talking about people who are in menopause or have birth control that has stopped their periods for years or who have been like clockwork for years and all experienced periods shortly after the vaccine. I personally have to laugh my behind off at the idea that the stress of the vaccine may have caused my irregular period. I’m a biglaw partner who works 70 hours per week and have for over ten years and was bedridden for months and hospitalized for a week with swine flu in 2010 yet through it all, I have never once been even a day late for my period, with the exception of being pregnant. I even breastfed for two years and got my period back at 6 weeks postpartum and from then got my period literally to the day like clockwork throughout breastfeeding. I did not have any other side effects from the first vaccine and also happened to be on vacation. To say it is impossible that stress is to blame would be an understatement of the year

Interesting. Mine was normal length and flow. Just no cramps. Looking forward to my second shot! Haha

This was me, too. I already posted about how mine went on and on for an abnormally long time, but it was also the first time I’ve ever had zero cramps.

Finally got it after 12 days late, so relieved bc I had uncomfortable PMS symptoms for a long while.

Had Pfizer a few days before my period was set to start. Got it on time but miraculously had zero cramps. Usually have two days of regular Advil.

I am ALL for science and vaccines. I will preface with that. But wow, how scary that it is affecting so many people like this. I’ve never had another vaccine disrupt my cycle, and I’ve been vaccinated for tons of different things as an adult (pre-COVID I traveled all over for work).

I’m almost afraid to post. It’s like reverse Jenga—which addition will cause the whole thread to topple again. I experienced a way, way abnormally prolonged period that started the day after my first shot. Still got the second one and no regrets.

35yrs old - Got my period two weeks early after the first shot and it was extremely heavy and cramp. I’ve been tracking my cycle for years due to natural family planning and have literally not had an irregular period (putting aside no period when pregnant) in at least 5 years.

My friend (31yo) who has an IUD and hasn’t had a period in two years, got a full blown period after her second shot and continued with breakthrough bleeding for a couple weeks after.
