I went to a super progressive high school. We would have a full day retreat with seminars and lectures on MLK Day about these topics. I remember one was called "The Unbearable Whiteness of Barbie." But modern politics never came up in actual classes like English, even with the most liberal teachers. The closest was when we discussed lynching in American history.

It's apparent that this is not a one time thing. The teacher is doing these sorts of things a lot, and the student pushes back.

It’s helpful to see what passes off as education these days. The teacher was borderline unhinged.

Maybe it's supposed to be some dumb gotcha exercise where the student says he sees a white woman and a black woman and then the teacher calls him ignorant and says they're twins.

Not a conservative but what a bizarre interaction. I would have answered by saying "There are two women." The teacher got weirdly aggressive about it.

Someone should fund a scholarship for this courageous LCPS student willing to call out his LCPS teacher for trying to shove CRT down his students' throats. It is so obvious that the teacher doesn't even really have any command of the race-based subject matter with which he is trying to indoctrinate his kids - it's just something he is blindly trying to inflict on students.
