I always used the clear blue digital. It says pregnant or not pregnant on the screen. They worked for me and that prevented me from second guessing the lines before the beta. I always knew before the nurse called (never stopped me from crying in the bathroom after the call). But I never wanted it to be a surprise.

I would test at 9 and 10 DPO

First response, though I always tested obsessively with the cheap Wondfos.

First response. For my successful pregnancy, I got a positive 8 days after a 5dt.

I've had the best luck with the simplest First Response tests with the pink lines. I got a faint positive 4 days after transfer, although ymmv.

This. No way was I willing to risk getting that negative beta call at work. I always tested first. Always.

Agree with others. If the stress of not knowing is too much, you can take a test yourself that morning. If you want to be surprised, just stay as busy as possible while you wait for the phone call.

I always tested before so the results wouldn’t be a total surprise.

My pregnancy test post FET is next Wednesday. I am taking the day off (coincidentally, not planned). I am getting in the test in the morning and they will call me with results a few hours later. What should I plan for the day? Should I make myself be busy or just wallow? I will be quite upset if it doesn’t work out. First IVF cycle and we only have one other normal embryo if this one doesn’t work out. I am not going to make any plans that weekend in case I’m depressed. Will hang out with DH and 4yo DS and hope I can hide my sad feelings from DS.
