It works just like any other school. You practice routines and establish school and classroom culture at the beginning of the year. The majority of the students who attend don’t have a Montessori background.

We went to the matched families event today and I was really pleased by the enthusiasm of the staff.

We transferred to Truth for 7th grade and love it. Great social-emotional and academic support. Teachers and staff are super responsive. Parents are involved with school/budget decisions every step of the way. My kid attends, in person, 5 full days a week. They have PE or Yoga daily, do breakfast/lunch in the courtyard and spend lots of time outside for other activities.

We’ve been very happy. The students actually have been receiving instruction through DL, unlike what I’ve heard from others. The workload is very manageable with only 3 core classes, and they really do give our child the level of challenge they need, which is something that never happened before. They have mixed age classes, so they kind of have to meet the kids where they are or else it won’t work. So far so good!

Much appreciated second hand or not! That's the transfer we'd be considering, from Deal for 7th.

Curious to hear about experience in Truth's first year. Depending on lottery results, considering transferring child from current middle school where distance learning has been rough to Truth. Thanks!
