SGF isn't the only option. Ideally, I'd like somewhere where I might be able to get some appointments near the downtown Bethesda area and some appointments downtown since I will likely have a hybrid work schedule between home and the office starting in the summer.
I thought based on the reviews on this board a lot of people liked the K street office of SGF. I don't need friendly. I just need a good lab and convenient because I work long hours already and have a toddler.
Do you have other suggestions?

We've been trying for 4 months and I think this cycle is not going to result in a pregnancy. In the meantime I've been doing some research and I think I'd like to go with SGF, either the K street location or the Sibley location. Assuming that I'm not pregnant, do I need to go in to see my OB (Reiter Hill) or do I just make an appointment with SGF through the online portal? Is there any benefit to seeing my OB first? It seems like from what I've read the answer is no. Also, is there any reason to think that Reiter Hill and SGF won't play nicely together such that I should find another OB or look at somewhere other than SGF which I picked based on the fact that it seems like their lab is the best.
Go straight to SGF. They will see you until you are 8-10 weeks pregnant and then “graduate” you to your OB and send the records from that pregnancy. I recommend Dr. Devine at K st.
