I'm tiny and lean and my ideal physical type is a guy who is tall, strong, and could lose 20 lbs. It just is what it is. I like the difference between our bodies.

Those are dad bods and my preferred look

It's the same for men. Some like model types, some are grossed out by big implants, some like chubby women, etc etc.
If you have a body there's someone out there who's into it. It's weird to make it into "news". Everyone has a type.

I'm 1356. I'm a size 6, which seems pretty average. Ive dated the gym rat guys before and I just don't find it fun. Everything centered around their time at the gym and what they could eat. I go to the gym and I eat well, but I don't stress if I miss a workout. And I don't stress if I eat a plate of nachos downed with a couple of margaritas.
Plus, I think people think dad bods are these guys with huge beer guts. That's not what a dad bod is. A dad bod is a guy with some muscle definition but had a little bit of a pooch instead of a 6 pack. At least that's what DH is and what I tend to think of as a dad bod.
