Makes sense. My kindergarten kid voted for Kaleidoscope, so she'll be devastated.

I think naming all schools after nature is a good idea. Let's go with plants, flowers, birds. Sounds great.

It's my favorite choice for sure. FAR prefer over Cardinal Elem. (Really wanted it to stay Reed but...)

Just like Alice West Fleet Elementary is mostly referred to as Fleet Elementary, my guess is this would end up being shortened to Westover Elementary for everyday use. I like it. I also like Cardinal Elementary, the other option.

From Thursday night's school board meeting docs it appears the naming committee for the new school in Westover went with Westover Village Elementary, second runner up Cardinal Elementary (the survey winner). What do we think? I like it because it's simple.
