Interesting - do you know how this is handled if i’m anovulatory (and don’t get periods on my own?)
NP, but pregnancy can do weird things to your body. I was anovulatory prior to my first DD’s birth (conceived via IVF/FET). Once I weaned her, I got my cycles back...ovulation and all..at a relatively consistent rate of every30-35 days. My only issue was PCOS. I hadn’t ovulated on my own pre-pregnancy in at least 8 years. My RE and OBGYN both stated that it wasn’t all that unusual for pregnancy to do some sort of a reboot like that, particularly in some dealing with PCOS.
Not telling you to count on that happening, but don’t be surprised if it does. My clinic (SGF) would not let me pursue any further treatment (medicated IUI or IVF) until DD had been fully weaned. That’s pretty much standard.
