1. They are a club not a team
2. And what team do they have that is the best in the DMV?

Jeff Cup was good competition for FCV, showing the teams need to be playing with the other better teams on the east coast. I will admit that team weaknesses were exposed in all age groups, but that is also necessary for improvement. FCV has lots of talented kids. All in all, it was a good showcase with good competition, and room for growth and development. Most of those games could have gone either way.

Elaborate "best team" after that disaster of a Jeff Cup showcase for FCV. They aren't "the best" and that opinion isn't a barometer for taking a club into a league. Stability, proximity, financial stability, and you better believe other ECNL clubs wanting to accept them. FCV burnt their bridges and it'll be a merger or a decade until they join the best girls soccer league.
