I'm so sorry to hear this. After my D&C I had a consult with a MFM specialist at Sibley who gave me a whole list of therapists. I chose Kate Marosek:
krmarosek@katemarosek.com and she specializes in termination due to abnormal pregnancy dx, among other things. I bet you could call the Sibley MFM department and they could provide you with the list of therapists even if you are not a patient. I am so so sorry.

Georgetown has a therapy practice particularly focused on reproduction, infertility and loss. Highly recommend.

OP, I unfortunately don't have an recommendations for you, but I'm so so sorry you had to experience this. I hope you're able to find a good therapist and work through your feelings; that sounds like a very traumatic process all around. <3

Hello - Has anyone seen a therapist after a late D&C?
I know I will get my head chopped off for this - but some background. I have a wonderful stepson that I have known since he was 2. We were really hoping for a baby girl with my last pregnancy and were ecstatic to find out it was! Then when we got news of several devastating diagnosis- we made the unbelievably hard decision to terminate. I am worried that if I ever get pregnant again - there will always be a sliver of resentment if it is a boy.
I 1000% will be so grateful for a healthy pregnancy and am praying for that first are foremost - but I am scared of that little part of me that will always think of the baby girl.
