OP. I reached out to original sales person and asked if they could meet me and they said yes and then we’re no where to be found by phone or text. Done w them.

So true. Anyway to make it not so painful? I hate it.

Buying a car is an adversarial transaction. You have no loyalty to them. Their job is to sell you the car for as much as possible.

You owe them nothing. Car sales is such a racket, don't let them play mind games about "loyalty".

If the salesperson was in the hospital or something, then cut them some slack.

But otherwise, why show loyalty to someone who doesn't respond for a few days and grouses about investing time in a test drive? It seems like they're just trying to make a quick sale with minimal effort. You don't owe anyone a debt of gratitude for that.

I figured this would be the consensus. I try to be a good person. They didn’t follow up for 2 days. Don’t know that she would have today without knowing that I’m working w someone else.

Yes you owe allegiance to the first person.

Someone was helping me with cars for several visits. Invested time. I texted Monday and they offered to see me Wednesday and also texted “well all the drive the same the same you know. Said they all have the same engine-same model different years and one had another engine. I’m like ugh, okay and that they don’t all drive the same depending on year and mileage and engine. Seemed she was annoyed maybe? I texted same sales person Wednesday and left a voicemail at dealer. I called back and spoke w someone else offered to help me saying they’d gone foe the day. I told them who I was working with but they offered to schedule me for a text drive. Original sales person did not follow up for two days and just now texted saying she heard I’m working a someone else. Do I owe allegiance to this original person if they didn’t follow up until she heard I’m working w someone else? I don’t want to be rude and this is business. Thank you!
