This is basically what my kid described when everyone was virtual. Or thinks like hiking in place in their bedroom while watching a video of someone hiking. Seriously. But now that she is in person those days are much better.

I don't think I'd be too happy to spend more time in a classroom with a teacher focused on mommy boards.
However many of my sons friends who picked DL are not scrambling for exceptions to switch to HL. Maybe your kids just don't like you?
