I'd LOVE to see it! I'm very into DIY as well as remodeling.

I'd put it as a facebook story instead of a post if it bothers you.

Send them to your mom and best friend. No one else needs to see them.

This is purely a matter of taste, there’s no right or wrong answer

That's not exactly an accomplishment.

Actually that’s not exactly true. I literally had to help my contractor along with so many projects I want it done that he just cannot figure out on his own. I’m talking about ceiling designs cutting out new windows, closing up windows and so many many other designs I came up with. It wasn’t just simply tiling the floors. I literally could help build a home after all the things I had to research on my own.

Saying what you want is NORMAL. Actually doing the physical work would be impressive. Your googling and saying do it this way is not.

I even had to figure out how to install the 12 foot high marble fireplace mantle I had made. I told him he’s just gonna have to cut a hole in the ceiling and use pulleys tied to the roof beams to lift it up into position.

Are you posting it on your personal page? Or posting it as part of a group?

I'm in a facebook group for my neighborhood. Sometimes people will post pics of their remodel/home improvements so they can recommend the contractors who did it. They'll post a before and after and say something like "I'm thrilled with our new bathroom! I highly recommend Smith remodeling..." etc.

No. You’re just looking for the high from the likes. If you want positive feedback, get it directly from individual friends. Or post the pictures to Houzz.

Why wouldn’t you? Isn’t this what FB is for? If you don’t want to see posts like this, then you should probably reconsider being on FB.

No that’s obnoxious and inviting trouble

I would love to show off my job of a complete gut and design but I’m on the fence about posting the pics. I see a lot of my friends post pics of their new homes and remodels all the time. But I don’t want to come across as showy but I am so happy how everything came out.
