If not, a new windshield will not cost $1k. We had our SUV windshield replaced for less than $300.
Our insurance (USAA) didn't cover it (MD). When we lived in NYS though I think they require full glass coverage. Check out your policy. Don't be afraid to look, it will all be ok!!![]()
