IKEA is way better quality than WE.

I bought a patio table from WE three years ago. I am very disappointed with the product.
After 12 months the slats in the top started bending a cupping….it’s pretty much unusable……I don’t recommend them

I bought a sectional from west elm in their all weather resin wicker materials last year and I love it. It is so comfortable and we use the screened in porch much more often now, relative to the crappy world market set we had before.

It’s kind of like this one but a darker wicker.

We covered it from November to March and it still looks good. Only a year old but still good.

My thought of West Elm is it’s high prices with IKEA quality. I’d look elsewhere.

I have an aluminum portside table and couch. They are only a year old but seem to holding up fine and look really nice on my patio. The aluminum makes it very light but it does not seem cheap to me. I ordered a heavy couch cover from a website where you can put in exact dimensions you need and do keep it covered whenever it is not in use. I did notice the cushions were starting to discolor from pollen/dirt in the initial weeks between when I got the couch and when the cover arrived. I’d imagine it would be very gross now if I did not keep it covered.

P.S. Here's the thread from a few years ago (with one response). https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/726038.page

I know someone posted about this a few years ago, but there wasn't much in the way of responses. Anyone currently have outdoor furniture from West Elm? What has your experience been? We're considering buying a whole patio set from their Portside line (with aluminum frame rather than teak), and just wondering how well it will hold up over the years.

Thanks in advance!
