Not clear how religion plays into this. Is the nanny a different religion? Are there different customs in your respective religions regarding days off?

The sectarian part of your subject aside, it’s good you recognize this wasn’t the right thing to do and it’s a good idea to apologize and tell sh it doesn’t matter if he understands/agree but that you’re 100% sure you are right and he shouldn’t ever do it again.

If nanny has day off, she should have the day off. Meaning, leave here alone.

However, I am confused about how being Shiite comes into play with a nanny with urinary tract infection. Unless I am misreading something...
