You are sitting on a battery. Too much of a good thing.

We are looking at plug in SUVs and have narrowed it down to the Volvo XC40 Recharge T4 or Volkswagen Tiguan. I like the style of the Volvo but the Tiguan is more spacious in the back seat and has more trunk space. Family of 4, including baby and toddler. Occasionally might have one grandparent so middle seat in the back might be used and would be less spacious in the Volvo. Thoughts? Or does anyone have the Volvo and wish they had more space?
